Designed for recreational boating, the Simrad GO7 XSR is a 7-inch multifunction display offering chartplotter and fishfinder capabilities. It integrates GPS, Wi-Fi, and a radar interface, making it suitable for sport boats, day cruisers, and small center consoles. Its 7-inch LED color multi-touch screen delivers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels with a brightness of 1200 nits and viewing angles of 80° (up/down, left/right).

Fishfinder and Integrated GPS Capabilities

This model comes with an HDI transducer (Hybrid Dual Imaging™) combining Broadband Sounder™ and DownScan Imaging™ technologies. It supports CHIRP Medium/High frequencies (83/200 kHz) and DownScan Imaging (455/800 kHz), with ForwardScan™ compatibility (transducer sold separately). The internal 10 Hz GPS receiver provides 3-meter horizontal accuracy, supporting WASS, MSAS, EGNOS, and GLONASS. It can store 6,000 waypoints, 500 routes (with a maximum of 100 points each), and 50 tracks (with up to 12,000 points).

Connectivity and System Integration

The Simrad GO7 XSR features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It includes a Micro-C NMEA 2000® port for integration with other marine systems, as well as a 5-pin Ethernet connector for radar connection (compatible with Simrad Broadband 3G™/4G™ and Halo™ Pulse Compression systems). It also exports NMEA 0183 data via Wi-Fi. The TripIntel™ technology helps optimize fuel consumption, and the unit is compatible with BEP C-Zone digital switching systems and ITC Lighting. The GO7 XSR is also compatible with the SonicHub2 audio system, Fusion Link, Sirius, and JL Audio (depending on region). It supports various autopilot modes (Auto, Nav., No Drift, Turn patterns) and includes low-depth, fish, and temperature alarms.
