The Simrad NSO evo3S MFD 24" is a highly integrated multifunction display designed for complete marine navigation and extensive system integration. It features a 24" Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a brightness of 1000 nits, providing optimal clarity and wide 80° viewing angles (up/down, left/right). The MVA optically bonded TFT technology ensures visibility even with polarized sunglasses.
Performance and Connectivity
Powered by a six-core iMX 8 processor, the NSO evo3S MFD 24" delivers smooth screen transitions and rapid access to data. Its connectivity is extensive, including three Ethernet RJ45 ports, one NMEA 2000 Micro-C port, one J1939 Micro-C engine integration port, and four NMEA 0183 ports. It also features three USB-A ports, an HDMI video output, two BNC composite video inputs, and one HDMI input. An internal microSD card reader and wireless connectivity (802.11b/g/n) are included for software updates and remote control.
System Integration and Robustness
This MFD enables the construction of a complete navigation system through integration with radars, fishfinder modules (SonarHub, S5100, StructureScan3D), autopilots, and engine data. It is compatible with C-MAP, Insight, Navionics, and NV Digital cartography. Autopilot control and integration with digital switching systems are also supported. The Simrad NSO evo3S MFD 24" is built for the marine environment, with an IPX6 waterproof rating on the front panel (when properly flush-mounted) and an operating temperature range from -15°C to +55°C. It weighs 7.8 kg and withstands shocks and vibrations of 100,000 cycles at 20 G.
