Detailed description
Designed for recreational boating and sport fishing, the Simrad NSS 4-10 MFD multifunction display (MFD) features a redesigned user interface and advanced processing performance. This 10-inch unit is equipped with a SolarMAX IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, ensuring visibility even in bright sunlight thanks to a brightness exceeding 1200 nits and viewing angles of 80° in all directions. Its Qualcomm 8-core processor delivers instant response and smooth transitions between applications.
Connectivity and Integration
The NSS 4-10 MFD integrates a 10 Hz GNSS receiver compatible with GPS and GLONASS, with support for Galileo, Beidou, and QZSS SBAS (WAAS). It features two Ethernet ports (one X-Coded M12 GbE and one 5-pin yellow), a Micro-C NMEA 2000 port, Wi-Fi 5 (IEEE 802.11ax), and Bluetooth 4.0. These options enable extended integration with Simrad HALO radars, Simrad NAC-1, NAC-2, and NAC-3 autopilots, Rhodan and Motorguide electric motors, Mercury SmartCraft Connect, CZone digital switching, SiriusXM, and IP cameras (IPCAM-1, FLIR 232/300, ONVIF).
Features and Charting
This multifunction display offers hybrid controls combining a responsive touchscreen, a rotary button for navigation and zooming, and a keypad with quick-access functions. Although this model does not include an integrated fishfinder module, it is compatible with external Simrad S3100 and S5100 fishfinder modules, or via another networked display featuring Active Imaging™ and Active Imaging™ HD. It includes a basic worldwide chart (not intended for navigation) and supports C-MAP® Discover™ X, C-MAP® Reveal™ X, and other C-MAP® X-gen charts. The system allows quick waypoint marking and offers ultra-fast autoguiding and chart rendering functions. Users can customize screens, application shortcuts, and configurable keys for direct access to favorite functions.

It is powered by 12/24 V DC (10 - 31.2 V DC min-max) with a maximum power consumption of 28 W and a recommended 5 A fuse. Its IPX6 and IPX7 rating ensures water resistance. External storage is managed via two front-facing microSD®/SDHC® card slots. The product comes with a 2-year limited warranty.
