Designed for vessels from 22 to 30 meters (72 to 100 feet), the Sleipner eVision E250 bow thruster delivers 250 kg of thrust at 24V for precise harbor maneuvers at the bow or stern. The system uses a 6-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with integrated inverter, enabling variable speed control.
Advanced technology and performance
The eVision E250 bow thruster features Q-Prop™ five-blade contra-rotating propellers, reducing noise by 20 to 40% in normal use and up to 75% in controlled tests while maintaining thrust efficiency. Its PRO variable speed control system ensures smooth and quiet maneuvers, adjusting power as needed. The Hold-Function allows the vessel to hold alongside a dock with a single press, particularly useful with a twin thruster setup.
System integration and reliability
With a power output of 11.1 kW (14.9 hp) and a current draw of 580A, the Sleipner E250/300TC-24V is equipped with the S-Link™ CAN-based digital control system for reliable communication with other Sleipner equipment.
