The Sleipner SX35/140 35kg 12V delivers a nominal thrust of 35 kg at 10.5V and a power output of 1.8 kW (2 Hp) at 12V. Its 140 mm tunnel diameter and single-propeller design are suited to vessels from 6 to 10 meters (19-33 ft). Weighing 14.3 kg and requiring a minimum hull depth of 140 mm at the tunnel center, it is designed for discreet and high-performance integration. It requires a minimum battery capacity of 300A CCA (12V).

Installation and durability

The external design of the SX35/140 allows installation on all hull types and materials, with minimal cable and mounting holes. No lamination work (GRP) is required for hull thicknesses up to 150 mm. Its external placement promotes efficient water cooling, extending operational cycles and motor lifespan. The submerged parts are galvanically isolated from the onboard electrical system to prevent corrosion, and the gearcase is lifetime-lubricated with a durable mechanical seal.

Integrated technologies

• Intelligent Power Control (IPC): minimizes mechanical wear by reducing the delay between direction changes and monitors solenoids for enhanced safety, stopping the thruster in case of solenoid lockup.

The Sleipner SX35/140 uses analog signal cables with color-coded Plug & Play connectors for easy installation. The unit complies with ISO 8846 for ignition protection. Its design allows easy maintenance, including o-ring replacement, when the boat is ashore.

PRO option

A proportional PRO version is available, offering variable speed control for more precise maneuvers and extended operating times thanks to optimized thermal management. This option also includes a hold function for dual systems and better integration with joysticks.
