Detailed description
Detailed description
The retractable thruster Sleipner ERL130/250T-24V, part of the eVision E-Series, is designed to provide advanced marine maneuverability. This model stands out for its compact size and optimized weight, making it easier to integrate into confined spaces. It is suitable for vessels from 13 to 19 meters (42 to 62 feet) and operates at 24V DC.
Performance and Motor Technology
With a thrust of 130 kg at 21V or 24V, the ERL130/250T-24V features a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with 6 phases, specifically developed for marine thruster applications. Its 5.1 kW (6.8 hp) power output is paired with a 250 mm internal tunnel diameter. The twin-propeller system (Twin Propellers) delivers increased thrust within a reduced tunnel diameter. This thruster benefits from extended autonomy and an overheating protection system for the electric motor.
Control and System Integration
The Sleipner ERL130/250T-24V thruster is equipped with the PRO™ variable-speed control system, providing precise maneuvering and reduced noise. It includes a hold function to facilitate docking. The S-Link™ CAN-based communication system ensures reliable interconnection with other Sleipner products via compact, watertight, coded, and color-coded connectors. The Q-PROP™ technology with five-blade skewed propellers contributes to noise reduction.
Design and Marine Safety
The gearbox is sealed and permanently lubricated, eliminating oil changes. A galvanic isolator protects the submerged leg from corrosion. The system features overheating protection that reduces power or stops the unit in case of high internal temperatures. It is also ignition-protected according to ISO 8846 and includes a flexible coupling to compensate for misalignments. The control panels require a two-button activation to prevent accidental starts.
