Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for vessels from 17 to 24 meters (55-78 feet), the Sleipner retractable thruster ERV210/250TC-24V is a maneuvering solution that combines efficiency and discretion. This 24V thruster delivers 210 kg of thrust, featuring a 6-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) with hairpin technology. It provides 10.4 kW (14.0 hp) of power with a current draw of 580A at 24V. Its internal tunnel has a diameter of 250 mm. With a net weight of 90.8 kg, its approximate dimensions are: height (H) 389 mm, additional height (+H) 159 mm, length (L) 687 mm, width (W) 481 mm, retraction depth (RD) 378 mm, and minimum water depth (WD min.) of 250 mm.
Advanced Design and Performance
The Sleipner ERV210/250TC-24V stands out for its compact and lightweight design, up to 50% lighter and 40% smaller than previous models, facilitating integration into various hulls. It is equipped with contra-rotating dual propellers (Q-Props) that maximize thrust in a 250 mm diameter tunnel while reducing noise by up to 75%. The eVision technology, with its brushless electric motors specifically designed for marine use, ensures high operating duration and active air cooling, providing continuous operation capability.
Control and Safety System
This thruster integrates the PRO Thruster system for precise variable-speed control, allowing only the necessary power to be applied for maneuvers. It includes a convenient "hold" function for docking. The S-Link™ CAN-based control system ensures intelligent communication between Sleipner equipment, using compact, waterproof, keyed, and color-coded connectors to simplify installation. For durability and safety, the ERV210/250TC-24V is ignition-protected (ISO 8846), features overheat protection that automatically reduces or cuts power, has sealed-for-life lubrication in the gearcase, galvanic isolation of underwater components, and a flexible coupling that protects the propeller shaft from minor misalignments. Safe startup is ensured by a two-button activation, preventing accidental starts.
