Detailed description

Designed to enhance the marine audio experience, the Fusion CRGBW wireless remote allows control of LED lighting for compatible Fusion marine speakers and subwoofers. The system consists of a control module and a portable wireless remote, offering customization of colors and lighting patterns to create the desired onboard ambiance.

CRGBW lighting control

The remote integrates CRGBW technology, an innovation combining RGB lighting with cold white or warm white options. This capability enables an extended color spectrum for marine speakers and subwoofers. Color selection is performed via an intuitive dial on the remote. It offers 25 predefined display modes, including blinking effects, breathing, and dynamic color changes. The brightness of static colors and the speed of dynamic patterns are adjustable according to preferences.

Installation and compatibility

The system supports up to 5 pairs (10 speakers) of Fusion CRGBW LED speakers or 5 CRGBW subwoofers via a single receiver. An additional receiver (sold separately) is required to control a larger number of speakers. Up to three receivers can be paired with a single remote, providing flexibility for extended installations. The compact control module is designed for discreet installation behind a dashboard or console. Note that the receiver and remote are not waterproof and must be installed in weather-protected areas.

Technical specifications

The remote operates on a 2.4 GHz radio frequency with an effective range of up to 10 meters (30 feet). The control module accepts an input voltage of 10.8 to 16 V DC and provides a maximum output current of 2 A per color terminal. Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F). The remote is powered by two AAA batteries (not included). A 7.5 A fuse is included for power circuit protection.

How to install the remote control mount?

To install the bracket, use it as a template to mark two pilot holes. Remove the bracket, drill the pilot holes, then secure the bracket to the mounting surface using two 4-gauge (3 mm) stainless steel countersunk screws. Note that mounting hardware for the bracket is not included.

How to turn the LED lights of the speakers on and off using the remote control?

After connecting the receiver, use the remote control to operate the LEDs. Press the power button (bulb symbol) to turn the LEDs on. They will illuminate with the last applied color and mode settings. To turn the LEDs off, press the stop button (crossed-out bulb symbol).

How to change the LED color on the speakers?

To change the LED color, use the color selection wheel on the remote. Touch the wheel to select a new color and slide your finger to fine-tune it. To quickly switch to white, hold down the dedicated button (white circle symbol).

How to adjust LED brightness?

To increase the LED brightness, press the top button marked with a sun and a plus sign. To decrease the brightness, press the bottom button marked with a sun and a minus sign.

How to change the LED display mode?

To change the LED display mode, use the display mode buttons. Press the top button (up arrow symbol) to select the next mode in the sequence, or the bottom button (down arrow symbol) to select the previous mode. To stop the display mode and return to a solid color, touch a color on the color wheel.

Is it possible to adjust the speed of display mode effects?

Yes, you can adjust the speed of effects when using a display mode. Press the upper button (up arrow symbol) to increase the effect speed, or the lower button (down arrow symbol) to decrease it.
