Detailed description
Detailed description
The through-hull XSONIC Airmar SS75H (0°) is designed for boats up to 8 meters (25 feet), providing depth and water temperature readings. This high-frequency CHIRP transducer is optimized for accurate fish and underwater structure detection.
High-Frequency CHIRP Technology
With a high-frequency CHIRP range of 130 to 210 kHz, the XSONIC Airmar SS75H (0°) delivers a narrow beam width (15° to 9°), enabling improved target separation and bottom resolution. It provides up to 80 kHz of total bandwidth for precise underwater detail. Its 600 W power allows for a maximum depth of 214 meters (700 feet).
Design and Installation
Featuring a discreet stainless-steel housing, this through-hull transducer minimizes drag by protruding only 5 mm below the hull. The 0° tilted element suits hulls with a deadrise angle of 0° to 7°, ensuring the ceramic element remains horizontal for optimal echo return. Compatible with all hull materials, the SS75H (0°) requires a 70 mm (2-13/16 inches) hole for fiberglass or wooden hulls, and 79 mm (3-1/8 inches) for metal hulls. It includes a 9-pin connector and a 10-meter (33 feet) cable. Its weight is 1.4 kg (3 lb).
Compatibility and Maintenance
The transducer is compatible with Navico devices featuring a 9-pin Xsonic connector, such as the Lowrance HDS Carbon, Elite-Ti, Simrad Evo³, Go XSE, and XSR series, as well as B&G Zeus³ and Vulcan FS. Airmar certifies that applying the Foulfree coating does not affect transducer performance, helping to prevent marine growth and maintain optimal operation.
