To install the PC-11 power cable, you must connect the power wires to your boat’s 12 V power source. The red wire must be connected to the positive terminal (+) and the black wire to the negative terminal (-). It is strongly recommended to use an appropriate fuse on the power circuit to protect your device. The cable’s specific connector then plugs directly into the power port located on the rear of your Humminbird HELIX fishfinder.
