The ICOM OPC-BA9018 antenna cable is a 10-metre connection solution designed for marine installations requiring reliable connectivity between the antenna and fixed VHF equipment or navigation instruments. This RG58-type cable is fitted with a PL male connector at one end and an FME connector at the other.
Connectivity and Adaptability
The OPC-BA9018 configuration with a PL male connector and an FME connector offers installation flexibility. The compact FME connector makes it easier to route the cable through conduits or narrow passages before the final connection.
Simplified Installation
To ensure extended compatibility, the OPC-BA9018 cable is supplied with an additional PL male adapter. This allows the FME connection to be converted into a second PL male connection, providing two PL male connection options or a combination of PL male / FME depending on installation requirements. It is suitable for fixed VHF systems and navigation instruments.
