Detailed description
The JL Audio MLC-RW is a dedicated controller for 12 V RGB LED lighting circuits on board. Its PWM modulation and power stage deliver up to 30 A, or 400 W continuously, to drive a network of multicolor LEDs.
Colors, brightness, and cycles are adjustable via the supplied rotary encoder. Integrated Wi-Fi also allows control from a compatible iOS or Android device using the third-party LiteWave ITI application.
The module monitors voltage and temperature and includes automatic protection against overcurrent and short circuits. It operates between 10 and 17.6 V DC, within a temperature range of -20 to +75 °C.
The kit includes the MLC-RW module, its rotary encoder, and mounting hardware. The power fuse rating must be selected based on the total current of the connected LED circuits. A careful and properly protected marine electrical installation is essential.
