The McMurdo R5 VHF single charger kit and rechargeable Li-Ion battery is a dedicated solution for the McMurdo R5 VHF. Designed to ensure the autonomy and recharging of your marine communication equipment, this kit includes the essential components to keep your VHF operational.
Specific Lithium-Ion Battery
This kit includes a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. With a net weight of 0.115 kg, this battery is specifically designed for the McMurdo R5 VHF. Lithium-Ion batteries are recognized for their energy density. For responsible management, McMurdo Ltd recommends disposing of its products, including batteries, in accordance with European Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) and the provisions of IMO Resolution A.962(23) regarding ship recycling.
Single Charger and Components
The kit is complemented by a single charger, designed to recharge the Li-Ion battery efficiently. The battery uses materials such as lithium cobalt oxide, electrolyte (LiPF6 in organic solvents), polypropylene, alumina, nickel, carbon, copper, and polyethylene. These components are selected for battery performance and durability.
