A pair of M200 7.7" marine coaxial speakers
Part number 010-04757-00 includes two JL Audio M200 marine coaxial speakers with nominal size 7.7 inches, Sport white grilles, and RGB LED lighting.
Audio specifications
Each speaker handles 60 W RMS into 4 ohms. Sensitivity is 88 dB at 1 W/1 m; frequency response ranges from 45 Hz to 20 kHz (+/- 3 dB). Recommended amplifier power is 40 to 120 W per channel. The cone is injection-molded polypropylene with mica reinforcement; the tweeter is a 25 mm silk dome.
Cutout and mounting
Allow a cutout of 159 mm and mounting depth of 78 mm. The outer diameter is 195.7 mm; the grille protrudes 35.4 mm beyond the mounting surface. Maintain a 205 cm compass-safe distance.
IPX6 protection applies to the front face when properly mounted. The rear, wires, and connections are not waterproof and must be shielded from moisture. In exposed areas, mount on a vertical surface. Outside the boat, install well above the waterline.
Lighting and wiring
The LEDs operate on 10 to 14.4 V DC, drawing up to 140 mA at 14.4 V DC per speaker. Garmin recommends a Spectra controller (sold separately) to manage colors and effects. A static color can also be set via a protected 12 V DC source connection.
Install a 500 mA fast-blow fuse per speaker on the LED positive wire near the power source, in a marine fuse holder. This protection is required even with a controller. For direct wiring, use an isolation switch or circuit breaker. Use the provided harnesses, disconnect audio power before connections, and isolate terminals from each other and ground.
