Crimp terminals for cut-to-length boat cables

This collection includes terminals used to properly terminate electrical cables sold by the meter: heavy-duty tubular terminals, insulated ring terminals, spade terminals, and Faston terminals. The goal is straightforward: select a terminal suited to the actual cable cross-section and connection point, without mixing it up with busbars, distribution blocks, or other accessories.

Available ranges

Tubular terminals — for power cables, batteries, circuit breakers, busbars, and high-current circuits. Choose the cross-section in mm², then the bolt hole diameter.
Insulated ring terminals — for small to medium conductors on screws or threaded terminals, color-coded by cross-section range.
Spade terminals — convenient for screw terminals when you need to remove the conductor without fully unscrewing the terminal.
Faston terminals — for flat tabs, panels, electrical accessories, and low-power quick connections.

Selecting the right terminal

The terminal’s cross-section must match the cable’s cross-section, not just what fits mechanically into the barrel. For ring or tubular terminals, also check the bolt diameter: M4, M5, M6, M8, M10, or M12 depending on the terminal. In a marine environment, a clean crimp with the correct die is more reliable than an improvised clamp or an oversized terminal.

Skysat tip

When ordering cut-to-length cable, add the terminals at the same time as the cable: two ends per connection, plus a margin for potential rework. For battery cables and heavy cross-sections, confirm the terminal diameter before ordering: a 35 mm² terminal in M8 and a 35 mm² terminal in M10 do not serve the same purpose.
