The Airmar B275LHW is a high-performance through-hull bronze fishfinder designed for CHIRP-compatible Garmin systems. It combines a low-frequency channel for bottom tracking and depth with a wide high-frequency channel to improve water column definition and target separation.
Technical data listed in Nexus shows a CHIRP low 42-65 kHz and CHIRP high 130-210 kHz range, a peak power of 1 kW, a maximum depth of approximately 914 m, along with integrated depth and temperature sensors. The model is designed for through-hull mounting with a shoe, in bronze, with a 12-pin Garmin connector.
This model targets fishing vessels and offshore units where signal quality is critical over ease of installation. The shoe allows adjusting the incidence angle on hulls with deadrise but requires rigorous installation: selection of a clean water zone, absence of bubbles and turbulence, sufficient interior access, and proper tightening for the hull material.
