Designed for demanding marine environments, the BLUE SEA compact ST blade fuse block with 8 circuits (reference 5046B-BSS, model 5046) provides a reliable circuit protection solution. This block accepts ATO and ATC fast-acting blade fuses, enabling efficient management of onboard DC electrical systems up to 32V DC. Its compact design, with dimensions of 146 mm (length) x 43.8 mm (width), is optimized for space savings, particularly due to its single-sided entry wiring.
Protection and compliance
BLUE SEA model 5046 features ignition protection, making it safe for use in gasoline engine compartments in compliance with ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 standards. Its insulating cover meets ABYC/USCG insulation requirements. The bus bars and fuse clips are made of tinned copper, ensuring good conductivity and corrosion resistance. Each circuit can handle up to 30A, with a maximum of 100A for the entire block. IP66 sealing provides protection against water spray and dust. This block is certified under the Recreational Craft and Personal Watercraft Directive 2013/53/EU.
