Designed for coastal and offshore navigation across a vast territory, the C-MAP ATLANTIC EUROPEAN COASTS-MAX EW-M009 electronic chart provides detailed data for mariners. This chart is supplied on an mSD card with an SD card adapter. It covers the Atlantic coasts of Europe, including Portugal, France, all of England, Iceland, and Greenland up to Baffin Bay near Canada, in Mega Wide format.
Navigation features
The C-MAP ATLANTIC EUROPEAN COASTS-MAX chart integrates full vector charts, providing precise details on depth zones, contours, navigational aids (NavAids), light sectors, wrecks and obstructions, as well as facilities for small craft. It includes tide and current predictions, displayed with tide level graphs and current flow graphs with colored arrows for better understanding of marine dynamics.
Details and safety
For planning and safety, this chart offers detailed marina layouts with thousands of precise layouts, including berth locations, regulated zones, and contact information. Thousands of high-definition aerial photos of marinas, ports, coves, and important navigation marks are included to help familiarize yourself with new destinations. Dynamic NavAids provide detailed information such as name, color, frequency, and light range. For enhanced safety, the system integrates Guardian Alarm, an automatic forward-scanning function that detects obstacles, and Route-Check, which alerts to obstructions along route segments between waypoints. The Perspective View feature offers a "bird's-eye" view of the navigation area by tilting the chart view to 45 degrees.
Electronic chart libraries are updated twice a year to incorporate the latest information from hydrographic services, as well as updates to marina facilities and port services. This chart is compatible with a range of multifunction GPS displays from brands such as Simrad, Lowrance, B&G, Raymarine, and Furuno.
