Compatible with C-MAP chartplotters and certain Garmin and Raymarine models, it enables efficient route planning and accurate position identification. It belongs to the Discover X range, offering a good balance between features and price. The Discover X charts are now replaced by the Revelation range, which offers higher resolution and additional features.

Cette carte Discover X est pertinente si le traceur du bord accepte bien ce format C-MAP. Le point critique n'est pas la zone couverte, qui est cohérente pour l'Europe centrale, de l'Ouest et du sud, mais la compatibilité matérielle : il faut éviter de promettre une compatibilité générique avec toutes les marques de traceurs.

Je recommande donc de valider le modèle exact du traceur et sa version logicielle avant commande. Si le traceur réclame une génération plus récente de cartographie C-MAP, il faudra plutôt orienter le client vers une référence compatible de la gamme actuelle.
