The CZone COI (Combination Output Interface) without connectors is a compact, intelligent digital switching module designed to replace traditional fuse boxes and circuit breaker panels in marine and recreational vehicle applications. It centralizes the management of electrical systems, reducing installation complexity and wiring requirements. This high-density module provides a versatile control solution for onboard equipment.
Extended switching and monitoring capabilities
The COI module integrates a total of 30 channels, with 16 output channels for precise load management. It features 4 high-current 25A outputs and 12 low-current 10A outputs, the latter being dimmable for lighting control. For monitoring, it offers 8 analog inputs compatible with positive or negative switching signals, voltages from 0 to 32V, resistances from 0 to 1000 Ohm, and currents from 4 to 20mA, enabling monitoring of sensors such as fuel levels or battery voltage. Additionally, 6 digital inputs are available via a pigtail harness for functions like wipers or sounders.
Protection and NMEA 2000 communication
With a supply voltage of 9-32V and a maximum continuous current of 150A at 40°C, the COI ensures reliable power distribution. Each output channel includes configurable electronic fuse protection, complemented by an ATC mechanical fuse and bypass function, meeting ABYC and CE safety standards. The unit is rated IPX5, providing protection against water jets from all angles, and includes a USB port for software updates via USB stick. Communication is handled via the NMEA 2000 network, enabling integration with dedicated CZone displays or compatible multifunction displays. Direct control of switching functions is possible via CZone displays or Simrad MFDs, while monitoring is compatible with other brands such as Raymarine, Garmin, and Furuno (for certain data). The 4 high-power bilge pump channels offer manual control and operational status feedback without additional wiring.
