Designed for marine environments, recreational and specialized vehicles, the CZone Contact 6 PLUS digital switching module provides a robust electrical management solution. It features 6 solid-state 15A outputs, spark-proof and suitable for 12V or 24V systems. The module handles a maximum total current of 60A and provides main power via a positive M6 (1/4") terminal within a 9 to 32V range, with an NMEA 2000 network power supply from 9 to 16V. Its dimensions are 202.5 x 128.5 x 45mm and it weighs 0.6 kg.
Advanced features and protection
Each output channel of the Contact 6 PLUS supports 100Hz PWM dimming, enabling precise control of light intensity and soft starts. Circuit protection is ensured by ATC fuses with blown-fuse alarms and mechanical bypass on all channels for increased redundancy. The module complies with CE, ABYC, NMEA and ISO8846/SAEJ1171 standards, and is spark-proof. Its IPx5 rating ensures resistance to water spray when mounted vertically. The operating temperature range is from -15°C to +55°C.
Integration and power management
NMEA 2000 connectivity is provided via a Micro-C CAN port, enabling seamless integration with multifunction displays (MFD) from major manufacturers. This integration allows direct control of electrical systems, alert notifications and circuit status indication from the display. The CZone Contact 6 PLUS also includes timer functions for specific circuits and load shedding to extend battery life. Its current draw is ultra-low, with a maximum of 75mA and 0.3mA in standby. Default configurations are built-in and selectable via a DIP switch, simplifying implementation. The "Conn & Seal" kit includes a connector and a gumboot sealing gasket.
