Designed to simplify dashboard installations and provide extended control, the Czone 12-Way Waterproof Keypad (Portrait) is a robust digital switching solution for marine and recreational vehicle environments. It features a Micro-C CAN port for direct connection to an NMEA 2000 network, ensuring seamless system integration.
Design and Technical Specifications
This keypad is equipped with an IPX7 waterproof housing, making it submersible and suitable for marine conditions. Powered via CAN at 9–16 V, it has a maximum current draw of 56 mA and an ultra-low standby current of 1.8 mA. Its dimensions are 107 x 77 x 32 mm with a weight of 0.115 kg. It operates in an ambient temperature range of -15 °C to 55 °C and a storage range of -40 °C to 85 °C. The keypad holds CE, ABYC, NMEA, and ISO8846/SAEJ1171 certifications for ignition protection.
Advanced Features and Installation
The keypad features dimmable RGB backlighting, customizable per circuit. Installation is simplified by reduced wiring thanks to a single connection to the CZone NMEA network. It offers versatile mounting options: front, rear, and flush mount, including a "glass dash" appearance. Front mounting can be achieved with a single 52 mm (2-1/16") hole saw. LEDs indicate circuit operational status and blown fuse alerts. Advanced control functions include circuit dimming, soft-start effects, built-in timers (for live wells), timed switching (using network GPS time), and voltage monitoring with load shedding. Supplied with a standard label sheet for circuit customization.
