The FURUNO TZMAP13 + Echonautics TM70M300 CHIRP sounder pack combines a Full HD multifunction display with a CHIRP sounder for precise navigation and underwater detection. Designed for marine environments, this set provides a complete suite of features for chartplotting, depth sounding, and side-scanning.
FURUNO TZMAP13 multifunction display
The standalone TZMAP13 is a 12.8-inch Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel TFT color chartplotter with multi-touch screen. It features a brightness of 1000 cd/m² (typical) for optimal visibility. The integrated GNSS system provides 72-channel WAAS L1 reception (1575.42 MHz) with position accuracy of 10 m (GPS), 7 m (MSAS), and 3 m (WAAS), and a position update interval of 100 ms (10 Hz). For chartplotting, it is compatible with TZ MAPS, MM3 Vector, and CMOR (USA only), with storage for 30,000 user waypoints and 200 planned routes (500 waypoints per route).
Advanced sounder and side-scan capabilities
The TZMAP13 includes a sounder module compatible with CW frequencies (50/200 kHz) and CHIRP (40 to 240 kHz, Low, Medium, High). Sounder modes include TrueEcho CHIRP™, ACCU-FISH™ (requires dedicated CHIRP sounder), Bottom Discrimination (requires CW 50/200 sounder), Auto Gain (Fishing/Cruising), A-Scope, Marker Zoom, Bottom Zoom, and Bottom Lock. Sounder alarms cover fish schools and bottom lock. For side-scanning, the TZMAP13 uses CHIRP frequencies of 220-240 kHz/445-465 kHz, offering a display range of 230 m on each side with 8 high-contrast color themes.
Connectivity and ruggedness
The TZMAP13 is equipped with an NMEA 2000 port (edition 3.100) for network integration, a LAN port (100 BASE-TX), a USB port for user data import/export, an NMEA 0183 serial output port, and a Micro SDXC card slot. The unit is designed to operate in temperatures from -15°C to +55°C and has an IPX6 waterproof rating. It is powered by 12-24 VDC and weighs approximately 3.2 kg (without bracket or knobs).
Echonautics TM70M300 sounder
The Echonautics TM70M300 is a 300 W CHIRP transducer designed for transom mounting. It operates in the 95 to 155 kHz mid-frequency range, with a beam angle of 23° to 17° (-3 dB). Its maximum detection depth is 183 meters (600 feet).
