Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for navigation and fishing in the region, this Garmin marine mapping covers the Indian subcontinent. It provides an all-in-one mapping solution integrating Garmin and Navionics content for detailed visualization of coastal features, lakes, and rivers. The coverage area extends from Pasni, Pakistan, to Sittwe, Myanmar, including Sri Lanka, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Chagos Archipelago, and the Maldives, with major ports such as Karachi, Calcutta, Mumbai, and the Malé Atoll.
Detailed mapping and updates
The Garmin Navionics+ and Vision+ charts provide mapping with access to daily updates for one year via the ActiveCaptain® app or Navionics chart installer software. They include Auto Guidance+ technology, which suggests a dock-to-dock path, high-resolution depth shading (up to 10 color options), and contours down to 1 foot for accurate representation of the seabed structure. Shallow-water shading is customizable to highlight areas to avoid. The ActiveCaptain community also contributes useful points of interest such as marinas, anchorages, and hazards.
Advanced navigation features
For improved situational awareness, the charts offer a customizable view with various layers and overlay combinations. Chartplotter synchronization enables wireless transfer of routes, waypoints, and chart updates between the chartplotter and the mobile app. The SonarChart Live Mapping feature allows real-time creation of 1-foot HD bathymetric charts. Garmin Navionics Vision+ versions add high-resolution relief shading, high-resolution satellite imagery, 3D views (MarinerEye, FishEye), aerial photos of ports and marinas, as well as sonar and Side Scan imagery for detecting underwater structures and seabeds. The Dynamic Lake Level feature is also available to adjust the chart to current water levels in inland lakes.
These charts are available as microSD™/SD™ cards or for download and are designed for compatible Garmin chartplotters.
