The Garmin Spectra™ LC302 LED control module is designed for centralized management of LED lighting systems aboard vessels. It allows control of lighting systems from compatible Garmin chartplotters, via the ActiveCaptain® smartphone app, or through compatible Fusion Apollo™ marine stereo systems. This integration provides a unified interface for customizing marine lighting ambiances.
Multi-Zone Control and Audio Synchronization
The LC302 supports multi-zone control, enabling assignment and management of different light groups for specific boat areas, such as cup holders, speakers, light strips, and courtesy lighting. An audio synchronization feature is included, allowing LED lights to pulse to the rhythm of music for an immersive entertainment experience. This module is compatible with Fusion marine speakers, JL Audio, and other brands using RGB, RGBW, or CRGBW LEDs. The system is also modular, allowing for the addition of extra lights after initial installation.
Integration and Technical Specifications
With dimensions of 197 x 52 x 47 mm (L x H x D) and a weight of 158 g, the Garmin Spectra™ LC302 features a compact design for easy installation in confined spaces. Its robust construction is attested by an IP66/IP67 waterproof rating, ensuring resistance to marine environments. It operates within a temperature range of 0° to 50° C. Power input is compatible with 12 V (10.8 to 16 V) and 24 V (21.6 to 32 V) systems, with a maximum input current of 6 amperes. It has three 6-wire LED outputs, each providing up to 2 amperes, for a combined total draw of 6 amperes. Supported LED connection types include RGB, RGBW, CRGBW, and single-channel. The module integrates with the NMEA 2000® network with an LEN of 2 (≤ 70 mA) and includes surge and overcurrent protection. The safe distance from a compass is 20 cm. This module comes with a 2-year warranty.
