Designed for demanding sailors, the Humminbird APEX 19 - MEGA SI+ touchscreen combination offers a complete suite of sonar, navigation, and connectivity features. This sonarless version allows users to customize their detection system based on specific needs, leveraging Humminbird’s high-resolution imaging technologies.

Advanced Sonar Performance

The APEX 19 integrates Humminbird’s advanced sonar technologies, delivering clarity and detailed detection of underwater structures. It supports MEGA SI+ sonar, using precise beams for fine and wide lateral coverage.

The system also includes Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar, providing conical coverage directly beneath the boat. As a sonarless version, integration of a compatible transducer is required to activate these sonar features.

Detailed Navigation and Chartplotting

The Humminbird APEX 19 is a comprehensive navigation tool, requiring a GPS receiver (internal or external) for optimal use of certain functions. It offers intuitive waypoint, route, and track management, with options to edit, group, import, and export data. Navigation features include quick route creation (Quick Route) and Man Overboard (MOB) functionality with automatic waypoint creation, continuous navigation, and automatic zoom.

For chartplotting, the unit is compatible with Minn Kota Coastal Map Card, Navionics (integrated, Gold, HotMaps, Platinum+), and Legacy charts. Users can select from different chart display preferences such as North Up, Course Up, or Heading Up (COG Up). Lake search tools (Lake List) and nearby point-of-interest search (Find Nearest) are also available.

Extensive Connectivity and Network Integration

The APEX 19 features advanced connectivity for integration into a complete marine system. It includes a NMEA 2000 bus (LEN: 2) to connect and display data from fuel sensors, engine sensors (temperature, oil level, coolant level, etc.), and temperature. The dual Ethernet ports facilitate networking with other Humminbird devices. Wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies are also included, enabling connections to the Minn Kota Fishing app, wireless remotes, electric motors, shallow-water anchors, and downriggers (sold separately).

Software updates are performed via SD card, with automatic detection and restart. Each combination unit on the network must be updated individually.

Intuitive User Interface and Alarms

The APEX 19 interface combines a responsive multi-touch screen with an ergonomic physical keypad. Touch functions allow selection, opening, cursor activation, and zooming (pinch/spread). The keypad includes dedicated keys such as Power, Enter, Exit, Navigation, Mark, Home, Zoom, Menu, as well as programmable keys and a joystick/rotary dial for precise menu and view navigation.

The system offers a full range of configurable alarms for safety and monitoring, covering systems (voltage, heading loss), boat (drift limit, SOG, STW), navigation, sonar (deep fish, shallow/deep water), temperature, and engine (low fuel level, engine temperature, etc.).
