What happens if I use my 200 minutes before the end of the 6 months?

If you use all 200 minutes before the 6-month validity period expires, your communication service will stop. As this is a prepaid plan, there is no risk of out-of-plan usage or unexpected billing. To continue using your satellite phone, you must purchase a new top-up.

How does the activation of this subscription on my SIM card work?

This is an activation or top-up service for an existing Iridium SIM card. Once your purchase is confirmed, you must provide us with your Iridium SIM card number (starting with 8988). The 200-minute credit will then be remotely activated on your card. You will not receive a physical product. We will contact you after your purchase for activation.

What happens to my remaining minutes if the 6-month period has expired?

If the 6-month validity period expires, any unused minutes credit will be lost. To avoid this, you can purchase a new top-up before the expiration date. In this case, the remaining minutes balance is usually carried over and added to your new credit, and the validity period is extended.

To check your remaining minutes and the expiry date of your credit, you can make a free call directly from your Iridium satellite phone.

Dial 2888 and initiate the call. An automated voice message will inform you of the remaining minutes in your account and the expiry date of your subscription.

Is a separate Iridium SIM card required to use this subscription?

Yes, this item is a subscription service (a credit top-up) and does not include a physical SIM card. You must already own an Iridium SIM card or purchase one separately to activate and use this 200-minute plan.

Can I top up my account with another package before it expires?

Yes, absolutely. If you purchase a new prepaid Iridium top-up before the expiry date of your current plan, the new credit will be added to your remaining balance.

Additionally, the validity period of your entire credit (remaining minutes + new minutes) will be extended and will match the validity period of the new top-up you purchased.
