Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for seamless integration into marine navigation systems, the LCJ Baroplug V23 NMEA2000 is an atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature sensor. This device is "Plug and Play" type, connecting directly to the NMEA2000 backbone via a Micro C male connector. It enables immediate acquisition and transmission of barometric and temperature data.
Performance and Accuracy
The Baroplug V23 measures atmospheric pressure over a range of 850 hPa to 1150 hPa. The resolution of this measurement is 0.1 hPa for NMEA2000 V3 systems and 1 hPa for NMEA2000 V2 systems. Relative accuracy is +/- 0.5 hPa at 20°C, while absolute accuracy reaches +/- 1.5 hPa at 20°C. The pressure sensor uses a hydrophobic membrane for reliability in marine environments.
Integration and Compatibility
The Baroplug V23 is powered via the NMEA2000 network, accepting a voltage of 8V to 28V DC with low consumption of 1 LEN (< 25mA). Its NMEA2000 connectivity complies with V2 and V3 specifications, transmitting specific PGNs for atmospheric pressure and temperature. The device features a light indicator (flashing LED) to signal operation. Compact, with dimensions of 81 mm (L) x 17.5 mm (Ø), it is easy to install. It has IP66 protection (once connected) and is CE EN55022 / EN55024 certified.
