The Lowrance ActiveTarget 2 XL depth sounder with a 7.62 m (25 ft) cable delivers real-time sonar capabilities, providing clear images of fish and underwater structures. Designed for improved resolution and an extended field of view, it integrates a transducer with a frequency range of 650 to 1300 kHz and a maximum depth of 60.96 meters (200 feet).
Performance and features
The ActiveTarget 2 XL system features a 180° field of view, ensuring surface-to-surface coverage across Forward XL, Down XL, and Scout XL views from a single transducer. The Quick-Switch Views function allows instant switching between Forward XL and Down XL views directly from the display without manual transducer adjustments. The enhanced Scout mode includes angle markers for precise shallow- or deep-water views, with Scout XL providing a 180° aerial view to locate bait balls and schools of fish.
Integration and technical specifications
Compatible with Lowrance HDS PRO, HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon, and Elite FS displays, this depth sounder connects via a 1-100 Mbit Ethernet port. It is powered by 10.8 V DC to 31.2 V DC, with a typical current draw of 1.5 A at 13.8 V and a maximum of 2.2 A at 10.8 V DC. It includes reverse polarity protection with a 5 A fuse.
