The Lowrance 000-15255-001 GPS PCBA kit is an essential internal component designed for Lowrance Ghost bow motors. It integrates the GPS functions required for advanced motor operation, providing precise positioning and navigation capabilities.
Advanced GPS features
This kit enables the Ghost motor to use internal GPS for functions such as Spot Lock mode to automatically maintain a fixed position, heading lock for navigating a defined course, and waypoint or route navigation. It also offers advanced features like remote anchoring and others, available with appropriate software updates and compatible multifunction displays. Integration of an external compass contributes to precise directional control.
Integration and compatibility
The 000-15255-001 GPS PCBA kit integrates with the Ghost bow motor’s NMEA 2000 system, enabling seamless communication with compatible Lowrance multifunction displays. This includes HDS Pro, HDS Live, HDS Carbon, and Elite FS series, provided they have the latest software. This compatibility ensures full touchscreen control of direction, speed, navigation, and anchoring directly from the display. The kit includes the printed circuit board (PCB), two Torx #6 x 3/8 screws, and a GPS PCBA cable.
