Detailed description
Detailed description
The Maretron IPG100 gateway is designed for integrating NMEA 2000 networks with Internet Protocol (IP)-based systems via Ethernet. It enables extended monitoring and control of onboard systems by transmitting NMEA 2000 data to an IP network.
Connectivity and Integration
The IPG100 acts as a bridge between the NMEA 2000 bus and an Ethernet network, facilitating access to vessel data. This gateway is a key component for ship monitoring and control architectures, allowing sensor data, engines, and other NMEA 2000 equipment to be viewed and managed via IP interfaces.
Reliability and Compliance
The IPG100 gateway is an NMEA 2000® certified product. This certification ensures compliance with safety criteria, proper implementation of network management and messaging. It includes over 100 tests covering priority messaging, automatic addressing, product information, EMI noise immunity and electrical isolation requirements. Additionally, products in this range are tested to IEC 60945 for marine navigation and radio communication equipment and systems, ensuring reliable integration in the marine environment.
