« Battery's Best Friend » Architecture and Versatility
With its « Battery's Best Friend » architecture, the ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 can charge any battery chemistry, including Lithium Ion, Gel, AGM, and lead-acid, using the 3-step+ charging method. It offers up to three battery outputs for increased flexibility, capable of managing battery banks of different sizes. The pre-float function is integrated to prevent overcharging of smaller batteries, while the revival mode can recharge completely discharged batteries.
Global Performance and Adaptability
This charger delivers a nominal output voltage of 24 V with a maximum output current of 30 A (total charging current of 30 A at 28.5 V). It operates over a wide input voltage range of 80 to 275 V AC (50/60 Hz), making it compatible with global power grids and resistant to voltage fluctuations. The ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 features galvanic isolation, power factor control greater than 0.98, and temperature compensation (-60 mV/°C) via an included sensor, ensuring precise and efficient charging. Automatic power distribution maximizes charging current on each output based on battery state, and the « Priority Charge » function directs available power to the weakest battery for accelerated recharging. 24V models can charge a 12 V starter battery without additional components.

The ChargeMaster Plus 24/30-3 is equipped with MasterBus, CZone, and NMEA2000 communication interfaces, enabling advanced monitoring and configuration. It can operate as a standalone « plug-and-play » charger or be integrated into a complete MasterBus or CZone system, providing detailed information on power input, charger performance, and battery voltage/temperature. Designed for harsh environments, it has an ambient temperature range of -25 °C to 70 °C (with derating above 40 °C) and Vario fan cooling for low noise levels. Its IP23 protection for vertical mounting protects against water spray and solid objects. It includes protections against overheating, overcharging, short circuits, high/low battery voltages, and ignition, and complies with CE, UL1236, ABYC, SAE J1171, ISO 8846, and ACMA standards. Its dimensions are 291 x 210 x 105 mm with a weight of 2.5 kg.
