Detailed description
Detailed description
This Navico 5-meter external interconnect cable is designed for Broadband and HALO radar systems. It provides reliable extension of the distance between the radar unit and the multifunction display, enabling optimized installation on various types of vessels.
Installation and compatibility
The 5-meter (16 ft) cable is specifically compatible with Navico Broadband radar systems, B&G, and Lowrance, including Simrad 3G/4G and B&G 3G/4G models, as well as the entire HALO radar range. Its flexible design facilitates installation in varied marine environments, including restricted-access areas. It integrates into the interconnect system, which can reach a maximum length of 30 meters (98.5 ft) for the radar.
Technology and durability
Integrated with FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar systems, this cable contributes to radar performance without the constraints of traditional pulsed radars. This includes no warm-up time, a minimal blind zone of 6 meters (19.7 ft), and low power consumption. The cable is built to be robust and weather-resistant, ensuring durability in harsh maritime conditions and IPX6 protection for proper connections.
