Detailed description
The Evinrude Navico engine interface (part number 000-0120-62) is designed for integrating Evinrude outboard engines into NMEA 2000 networks. This 4.5-meter (15-foot) cable allows direct connection of Evinrude outboards to a NMEA 2000 network, enabling engine data display on compatible multifunction displays (MFD).
Engine data integration and display
This interface transmits critical engine data to Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G MFDs compatible with NMEA 2000, eliminating the need for additional analog gauges. Displayed data includes engine RPM, temperature, fuel and oil levels, alternator and battery voltage, atmospheric pressure, engine hours, engine load, and trim. Advanced fuel management is also possible when used with an EP-85R transducer and a speed source.
Evinrude-specific features
The cable provides access to Evinrude-specific messages, such as water-in-fuel or overheating alerts, along with other detailed engine data. For Evinrude E-TEC G2 engines, the interface enables engine data display on compatible Navico MFDs. Advanced control features such as iTrim, iSteer, and the 'One-touch' winterization function are not directly managed by this interface cable via MFDs. The kit includes the interface cable and a NMEA 2000 T-connector.
