Detailed description
Detailed description
The Navico HST-WSBL 83/200 kHz Skimmer depth sounder with temperature sensor is designed for reliable depth and temperature readings on vessels. It integrates a water temperature sensor for real-time data and is compatible with Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G units featuring a 7-pin blue connector.
Sonar Performance
This depth sounder operates on two frequencies: 83 kHz and 200 kHz. At 83 kHz, it provides a 38° beam width for wide fish detection. At 200 kHz, the beam is narrower (17°), offering higher definition. The HST-WSBL can reach a maximum depth of 304 meters (1000 feet) at 200 kHz.
Design and Installation
Weighing 0.11 kg (without cable) and featuring a 6-meter cable, this depth sounder has a housing. It is specifically designed for transom mounting but can also be installed on an electric motor or used for through-hull mounting on fiberglass hulls. The ideal mounting location is in undisturbed water flow, avoiding chines or flaps. Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to +50°C, and storage temperature from -30°C to +70°C. The recommended maximum speed for transom mounting is 60 knots.
