Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for reliable depth detection, the Navico PD-WBL 83/200 kHz Pod-Style transducer is a dual-frequency transducer suited for marine environments. It provides depth-only detection, ideal for users seeking a simple and effective solution. This model is compatible with Lowrance, Simrad, and B&G units equipped with a 7-pin blue connector.
Sonar performance
The PD-WBL transducer operates on two frequencies: 83 kHz and 200 kHz, using Medium/High CHIRP technology. At 83 kHz, it delivers a wide 52° beam, suitable for deeper waters, while at 200 kHz, the 22° beam offers higher resolution for improved detection of bottom structures and fish. It can reach a maximum depth of 304 meters (1000 feet) at 200 kHz and withstand speeds up to 60 knots (70 mph).
Installation and compatibility
With a 6-meter (20-foot) cable, this pod-style transducer is designed for versatile installation. It can be mounted in a shoot-thru-hull configuration in fiberglass hulls, eliminating the need to drill through the boat, or on a trolling motor to adapt to various hull types. Shoot-thru-hull installation requires a two-part epoxy adhesive. Wooden hulls are not compatible with this mounting method. The transducer is suitable for outboard and inboard/outboard boats up to 8 meters (25 feet) in length. Operating temperatures range from 0°C to +50°C, and storage temperatures from -30°C to +70°C.
