Detailed description
The NAVICO PTI-WBL ice transducer (part number 000-0106-94) is designed for fish detection and underwater mapping under ice. Compatible with Lowrance and Simrad displays equipped with a blue sonar connector, it features an internal broadband ceramic for smooth transitions between frequencies.
Performance and technical specifications
This dual-frequency transducer operates at 83 kHz and 200 kHz. It provides a maximum depth of 300 meters (1,000 feet) at 83 kHz. The transducer has a beam angle of 52° at 83 kHz and 22° at 200 kHz (-3 dB), offering wide coverage for scanning and a narrower beam for target identification. Its cable measures 2.1 meters (7 feet) and it does not include speed or temperature sensors.
Integration and design
Weighing 0.23 kg (0.50 lbs) for the version with a 7-pin blue connector, the PTI-WBL transducer is specifically designed for ice mounting. Its construction is suited for winter conditions. It operates on a supply voltage of 10.4 to 17.0 V DC and consumes less than 6.1 W.
