Detailed description
Detailed description
The Navico 000-11519-001 speed sensor is a paddlewheel sensor designed to provide accurate speed-through-water measurements. It installs on the boat’s transom, making installation and use straightforward. This model is an effective replacement for the older EP-70 sensor.
Accuracy and NMEA 2000 Integration
The Navico speed sensor excels at delivering precise readings at slow trolling speeds, where GPS accuracy may be limited. It comes with a 3.1 m (10 ft) cable and a Micro-C connector, ensuring a reliable connection to the NMEA 2000 network. Its ability to share paddlewheel speed data with any display connected to the network sets it apart from traditional sonar-based sensors.
Extended Features
The 000-11519-001 speed sensor integrates into the NMEA 2000 network via a male connector. Paired with a fuel flow sensor on the same NMEA 2000 network, it enables fuel consumption calculation, adding a useful feature for navigation management. A NMEA 2000 T-connector is included for simplified integration.
