Detailed description
Detailed description
The Airmar XSONIC B275LH-W bronze through-hull transducer by Navico is designed for sport and commercial fishing vessels requiring precise depth and water temperature detection. Constructed in bronze with a urethane acoustic window, this transducer is compatible with fiberglass or wooden hulls.
CHIRP Bicolor and Wide Beam Technology
The B275LH-W features CHIRP bicolor technology, offering an extended frequency range from 42 to 65 kHz for low frequencies (with a 25° to 16° beam) and 150 to 250 kHz for high frequencies. The high-frequency band delivers a constant 25° beam, doubling coverage under the boat compared to traditional narrow-beam transducers. This design ensures sharper images and improved fish detection. The nominal power is 1 kW, allowing a maximum depth of 914 m (3,000') in low frequency and 152 m (500') in wide high frequency.
Design and Installation
Weighing 7.3 kg (16 lb) with a 10 m (33') cable, this transducer includes a high-performance fairing block. The fairing block allows installation on hulls with up to 20° deadrise, optimizing wide-band results and maintaining clear readings even at speeds above 30 knots (34 MPH). The required hole diameter is 30 mm (1-3/16"). The B275LH-W is recommended for boats 8 m (25') and larger. It features Xducer ID® technology for automatic sensor recognition and is compatible with Mix & Match cable systems for flexible integration.
