Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for full integration of your navigation data, the XSONIC Airmar B744V is a through-hull multisensor providing depth, speed, and temperature functions. This 600 W model uses dual frequencies of 50 kHz and 200 kHz to adapt to various fishing and sailing conditions.
Technical Capabilities and Performance
The XSONIC Airmar B744V delivers 600 W performance with a 45° beam at 50 kHz and 12° at 200 kHz. It reaches a maximum depth of 366 m (1,200') at 50 kHz and 213 m (700') at 200 kHz. Speed measurement operates from 1 to 45 knots (1 to 52 MPH). Its bronze housing is compatible with fiberglass or wooden hulls and can be installed on boats up to 9 m (30') LOA with a keel angle up to 24° thanks to its high-performance fairing shoe.
Integration and Installation
The XSONIC Airmar B744V is a TRIDUCER® multisensor combining three functions in a single housing, requiring only one 51 mm (2") hole in the hull. The paddlewheel insert for speed and temperature is removable and transmits NMEA2000 data directly to compatible instruments. A high-performance fairing shoe is integrated to optimize bottom tracking and ensure accurate depth sounder data even at speeds above 30 knots (34 MPH). The transducer also features a patented self-sealing water valve to minimize water entry when removing the insert. The 10 m cable is equipped with a Navico XSONIC 9-pin connector. Acoustics are provided by a urethane window.
