Detailed description
The XSONIC Airmar SS75H (12°) through-hull transducer is designed for small vessels up to 8 meters (26 feet). It features high-frequency CHIRP technology for accurate depth and temperature readings. This model offers a total bandwidth of 80 kHz, operating from 130 to 210 kHz, enabling clear distinction between baitfish, gamefish, and underwater structures with enhanced resolution.
Design and Performance
With a power output of 600 W, the SS75H (12°) transducer can reach a maximum depth of 214 meters (700 feet). Its stainless-steel construction makes it compatible with all hull types, including metal hulls, provided the housing is isolated to prevent electrolytic corrosion. The ceramic element is tilted at 12°, compensating for hull deadrise angles between 8° and 15°, ensuring optimal echo returns and reliable depth readings.
Features and Installation
The transducer provides depth detection and rapid water temperature readings. Its beam width varies from 15° to 9°, offering target separation to identify fish near structures. The low-profile design minimizes drag, protruding just 5 mm from the hull. For installation, a 70 mm (2-13/16 inches) hole is required for fiberglass or wooden hulls, and 79 mm (3-1/8 inches) for metal hulls. It includes a 10-meter (33-foot) cable and an XSONIC Navico 9-pin connector for plug-and-play compatibility with Navico devices. The patented Xducer ID technology is also integrated.
