Detailed description
Detailed description
The Navicom RT750AIS is a 25W fixed VHF radio designed for secure maritime communication. This model integrates a GPS antenna and an AIS receiver, providing a compact solution for navigation and traffic monitoring. Thanks to its NMEA 2000 connectivity, it easily integrates into modern onboard electronic networks, enabling sharing of position data and AIS information with other compatible devices.
Communication and safety features
With switchable transmit power of 25W or 1W, the RT750AIS covers all international and American marine channels, and supports FM modulation modes (16K0G3E) as well as DSC/ATIS (16K0G2B). It can scan all channels (All Scanning) or only stored channels (Memory Scanning) for efficient monitoring. DSC (Digital Selective Calling) functions allow individual, group, all-ships calls, position requests, and test calls, enhancing safety at sea.
Integration and technical performance
The integrated GPS of the VHF offers a tracking sensitivity of -161dBm and an average cold start time of 60 seconds. The radio supports NMEA 0183 input frames (RMC, GGA, GLL, ZDA, VTG, GSV) and output frames (DSC, DES, AIVDM for AIS), with configurable transmission and reception speeds from 4800 to 115200 baud. The integration of AIS allows displaying information of nearby vessels directly on a compatible screen. The Navicom RT750AIS housing measures 180x91x55mm and weighs 970g, with cutout dimensions of 170mm width and 75mm height. It operates on 13.8V DC power and within a temperature range of -15°C to +55°C, delivering 5W audio power on 4Ω and 30W on the handset (loudhailer).
