« RAM Mounts rails: the modular mounting system for kayaks »

The RAM-GLISS-43 aluminum track is a modular extension solution for kayak and light craft users. Its main function is to provide a flexible base for organizing and securing essential equipment.

Installation of this track is straightforward, requiring drilling into the mounting surface. It is essential to use #8 screws for secure attachment.

This track system differs from point-mounted fittings by allowing quick adjustment and repositioning of accessories along its 17-inch usable length. This adaptability is particularly beneficial for kayak fishing, where the position of a fishfinder, rod holder, or camera mount may need frequent changes based on conditions or activity. Compatibility with RAM bases in sizes B and C ensures access to a wide ecosystem of accessories.

Avoid overloading the track with equipment that creates excessive leverage or weight disproportionate to the kayak’s structure. The RAM-GLISS-43 allows effective customization without compromising the boat’s integrity.
