Detailed description
The Raymarine D160 is a 127 mm tiller extension/elbow for Raymarine tiller drive autopilots.
Cylinder height correction
This part compensates for a height difference between the tiller and the fixed cylinder mounting point, ensuring the pushrod operates along a clean axis. In the Raymarine 87279-3-EN manual, the D160 measures 127 mm when the pushrod is below the tiller, and 152 mm when the pushrod is above the tiller.
Tiller extension
The extension is selected to maintain cylinder alignment and prevent stress on the mounting. It must be used with Raymarine mounting accessories only if cockpit dimensions require it.
Skysat advice
Measure the vertical offset of the assembly before ordering. If the issue involves the front/back distance between the cylinder and the tiller pin, choose a D003 to D008 pushrod extension instead.
