The Raymarine M81132 mechanical linear actuator is a high-power component for autopilot systems installed on sailboats equipped with mechanical steering. This model is the Type 2 Long 12V version. Compared to the Type 1 (M81130), the Type 2 delivers significantly higher thrust, making it suitable for sailboats with greater displacement. The "long" version offers a longer piston stroke, which is essential for installations on tiller quadrants with specific geometry requiring greater travel to achieve maximum rudder angles. The range is complemented by short versions and 24V models (such as the M81134), covering a wide fleet of boats. The M81132 is therefore the solution of choice for mid-sized to large sailboats with a 12V onboard electrical system.
