Detailed description
Detailed description
The Maretron MBB300C black box is a central component for monitoring and controlling vessels within Maretron’s MPOWER digital switching platform. It functions as a "black box" interface, enabling monitoring and control of onboard electrical and electronic systems, as well as resetting circuits—both locally and remotely via compatible devices.
NMEA 2000 Integration and Compatibility
The MBB300C connects directly to the NMEA 2000 network, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of sensors, instruments, and multifunction displays (MFD) that support standard digital switching PGNs. It facilitates integration with MFDs such as Raymarine LightHouse 4 and Garmin OneHelm, providing unified management of onboard systems.
Flexibility and Distributed Control
Designed to operate seamlessly within the MPOWER ecosystem, the Maretron MBB300C is part of a flexible, scalable platform for DC system management, suitable for vessels of all sizes—from small runabouts to large yachts. This architecture simplifies installation and provides intuitive control of onboard systems. Paired with other MPOWER modules, the MBB300C enables advanced features such as custom "mode" configurations, adding electrical control for a second helm, and centralizing management via the NMEA 2000 bus. It also supports automation of complex sequences.
