The Raymarine A80659 is the Quantum/Cyclone 25 m data cable. It connects Raymarine-compatible radars to the navigation network in installations where the distance between the radar antenna and the multifunction display requires a long cable.
What this product is, and what it is not
This reference is not a radar antenna and does not include a Doppler module, ARPA, or radar electronics. It is a ready-to-install data cable with connectors, for Quantum/Cyclone-compatible radar ranges.
Compatibility
The Quantum/Cyclone data cable range is available in 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, and 25 m lengths. The A80659 corresponds to the 25 m version. It must be selected based on the actual cable routing, allowing a reasonable margin without creating unnecessary loops.
Installation
Routing must respect bend radii, watertightness at pass-through points, and distance from interference sources. For a complete Cyclone system, also plan for the appropriate power cable, pedestal, beam antenna, and compatible Raymarine display.
