Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for hulls with moderate deadrise between 5° and 15°, the Raymarine RVM-412 pack (reference T70543) is a through-hull stainless steel transducer solution for Raymarine AXIOM2 navigation systems and the RVM1600 sounder module. This pack includes two RVM-412 transducers, specifically angled at 12° for port and starboard installation, optimizing RealVision Max 3D sonar performance on vessels where hull deadrise could otherwise compromise signal quality.
RealVision Max 3D Sonar Technology
The RVM-412 transducers leverage RealVision Max 3D technology, providing detailed three-dimensional underwater imaging. This capability allows users to visualize seafloor structure, fish, and submerged objects with enhanced clarity, critical for fishing and navigation in complex areas. The port/starboard positioning of these transducers ensures consistent SideVision and DownVision coverage without blind spots, even on hulls with significant deadrise angles. The transducers are made of stainless steel, a material suited to harsh marine environments.
Integration and Compatibility
The RVM-412 pack is directly compatible with Raymarine AXIOM2 multifunction displays and the RVM1600 sounder module. This simplified integration within the Raymarine LightHouse 4 ecosystem ensures easy installation and configuration, including RealVision AHRS (Attitude and Heading Reference System) calibration for precise sonar image stabilization. The pack includes complete cabling: two 2-meter transducer cables, a Y-cable for combined connection of both transducers, and an 8-meter extension, providing flexibility for installation on various boat sizes. This solution serves as an alternative to single-block or transom-mount transducers, delivering superior performance for applications requiring optimized 3D vision on specific hulls.
