Detailed description
Detailed description
Designed for satellite television reception at sea, the Raymarine 33 STV satellite reception antenna (part number E70455) provides access to hundreds of digital TV channels. This system automatically identifies, acquires, and tracks signals from compatible digital video broadcasting (DVB) satellites, whether the vessel is at sea or moored.
Signal coverage and compatibility
The 33STV system supports reception of linearly polarized signals for regions such as Europe, Australia, New Zealand, China, and the Middle East. It is also compatible with circular polarization for North America. This versatility ensures extended coverage depending on the operating area. Note that system E70455 replaces the previous model E42220.
Installation and compliance
Installation of the 33STV antenna must comply with Raymarine guidelines to ensure optimal performance. The product is designed for recreational marine and workboats not subject to IMO and SOLAS regulations. The system complies with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations and carries the CE marking, attesting to its compliance with European Directive 2004/108/EC. For end-of-life disposal, it must be processed in accordance with the WEEE directive.
