Detailed description
Detailed description
The Raymarine 60STV HD GEN 2 satellite reception antenna is designed to provide continuous access to satellite television at sea and in harbor. This system automatically identifies, acquires, and tracks compatible signals from all digital video broadcast (DVB) satellites. Available in variants for different regions, including Europe, the Middle East, and South America, this antenna supports signals with linear or circular polarization depending on the operating area. It replaces model E93008-2.
Integration and Performance
The 60STV Gen2 models are compatible with dual or quadruple RF STV system configurations, allowing connection to multiple satellite receivers (IRD). Regional information updates and LNB head adjustments can be performed via the ACU control unit or a PC-based graphical user interface, offering flexibility for adapting to changing navigation zones. Installation requires cable and connection planning to optimize reception performance and reliability.
Compliance and Installation
This product complies with the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and carries the CE conformity mark. For optimal electromagnetic performance, maintain a minimum distance of 1 m from radio equipment and 2 m from radar beams, and use cables specified by Raymarine. Installation must be carried out in accordance with instructions to ensure performance and safety. When connecting to third-party equipment, add a ferrite choke near the Raymarine unit to maintain EMC compliance.
